Description | Petition of William Wilson, tanner, stating that he and his ancestors have been possessed of a parcel of ground without the Northgate near the Quarrey, upon which stood several bays of building which were burnt to the ground in the long siege. He has since erected six bays of building there. There is a corner of rock adjoining his building Mr. William Bristowe has had uncovered and intends to cut down. He protests that this will damage his building and asks that Mr. Bristowe will be ordered to cease. Note of voting. It was agreed that Mr. Bristow should cease getting stone on the ground above mentioned until further consideration by the House. |
