DescriptionDraft copy minutes. Lewis Williams, ironmonger, was elected Councilman in place of Mr. Thomas Baker, deceased. He took the oaths and subscribed the Declaration and was confirmed in the place. Randle Batho, tanner, was elected Councilman in place of Mr. Robert Shone, deceased. He took the oaths and subscribed the Declaration. William Streete, Alderman, Thomas Simpson, William Willme and George Mainwaringe, Aldermen and Treasurers, William Harvey, Alderman, Peter Edwards, Alderman, Mr. Willm. Allen and Mr. Bennett, Leavelookers, were desired to view the lands in Issacoyed devised by Mr. Broughton, and to report to the next Assembly. It was resolved that there should be a scavenger for the City. The late Sheriffs and Mr. Robert Fletcher, late Leavelooker, were referred to the Mayor and others re a fine imposed on them concerning the [calves] head feast, and were to abide by their award.
