DescriptionThe Nave is about 145 ft. in length, its breadth without the ailes about 33 ft., with the ailes 75 ft. The height is also about 75 ft. The architectural features of the Nave are due to Simon Ripley. The initials S.R. occur in the foliage of the capitals of the first detached pillar from the West-end on the North side, and an R. also on another capital further east. The nave was restored in 1872.
