| Description | Remains of a fresco, which is to be seen on the Nave side of the masonary supporting the north-west columns of the tower. Two angels with outspead wings appear to be holding drapery, which hangs in graceful folds. The painting is now (1908) nearly obliterated, no record of it seems to exist, therefore it is impossible to say what it has been intended to portray. The painting is twelve feet broad by eight feet six inches high. |
