Title	Photograph: Bishop Bridgeman's pew.

Description	Now at the east end of the Chapter House. Bishop Bridgeman. D.D. Comb. was consecrated in 1619 and held the see until Episcopacy was suspended by the Commonwealth, dying in about 1652. It will be noticed that in this pew no two panels are alike in design. It bears on it the date 1637. This pew was made out of the woodwork of the old oak pulpit, which stood at the west end of the Choir. Bishop Bridgeman was born in Exeter November 2.1577.
