| Description | This tablet is situated under the tower close to the Choir Screen, in memory of Thomas Green and his two wives. Ellen daughter of John Braseye, and Dorothy daughter of John Davenport of Calvely. Thomas Green was Sheriff of Chester in 1551 and Mayor in 1564, and died the ninth day of June 1602 in the 76th year of his age, having no issue, he left his wealth to the Aldermen of the City and Chester Cathedral |
