Date1900
DescriptionThis is a modern piece of work, very beautifully carved and is the work of Messrs. Farmer and Brindley. It would have been more in keeping with the beautiful Choir stalls if it had not been so highly polished. Its cost was £450, and was the gift of the Freemasons of Cheshire. It represents 'The Building of Salomon's Temple, the Preaching of St John the Baptist in the Wilderness and the showing of the Heavenly City of the Apocalypse to St John the Divine.'
