The eastern bay has thus been made commemorative by Miss Llewelliyn Jones and the southern half of the middle bay by R Rasbotham Esq. the total cost of the ornamentation was £1350. It appears it was the intention of the Abbots to have vaulted the Choir but the design was not completed althougjh the commencement of the vaulting appears in several places. |
