Description	To the left is the Shrine of St Werburgh, as the Bishop Throne,as restored by Canon Slade in 1846, in memory of his father in law, Bishop Law. To the right is the stone pulpit - with canopy - this was the gift of Sir E. Walker, it is now (1900) in the nave, the beautiful stone canopy has been taken away.
