Title	Photograph: Cheshire regiment old colours; the regimental colour.

Description	The colours were consecrated by the R everend C. Kingsley assisted by the Reverend J.C. Sabine senior Chaplain at Aldershot. The 2nd battalion embarked for Malta on 11th May 1859 and retained the colours in use until 11th October 1889, when their present colours were presented to them by the late Duke of wWestminster.
