| Description | The 1st or Queen's colour. This with the regimental colour were presented to the regiment (now the 3rd battalion Cheshire regiment) on 13th July 1812. It does not state in the records of the regiment who presented them or what became of the former ones, they presumably continued in use until 1856. The regiment being disembodied after service in Ireland on 24th February 1876 and reorganised on 27th October 1852; new colours were presented by the Marchioness of Westminster on 2nd April [1856].
