| Description | Erected by Public subscription. In memory of Hugh Lupus Grosvenor first Duke of Westminster K.G. and Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire. Born October 13th 1828, died December 22nd 1899. The figure is the work of Mr F.W. Pomeroy and is executed in finest Carrara Marble. It rests on a plinth of Sienna Marble. The total cost of this monument & railing was £1817.20 |
