DescriptionMap of 4 separate areas of land comprising a) Agden Hall and demesne; b) pieces of land (c19a) in 'Meer' [Mere]; c) tenement (c12a) in Millington; d) tenement (c13a) in Statham. With later notes re sales of land etc to c1816. Scale 1 inch: 3 chains (1: 2376). Fields named, some numbered, with acreages in Cheshire and statute measure, and tenants' names; some buildings shown as block plans, some, including Agden Hall, in elevation; neighbouring landowners named; table of 'Explanantion' giving key to depiction of fences, ditches, footpaths, baulks in butty lands; also refers to Book of Reference (see DVA 3/7). Each tenement indicated by different colour; trees shown around boundaries and in woodland; coloured border marked out in furlongs; pair of dividers above scale bar; coloured compass rose; coat of arms of Chetwode family. Surveyor not recorded, but is Joseph Boydell, as recorded in book of reference..
The map is undated, but the date is recorded in the book of reference.

The title refers to Philip Touchet Chetwode esquire; he acquired these estates through his marriage to Elizabeth daughter of George Venables of Agden in 1727 and inherited his father's baronetcy on the latter's death in 1733
