Administrative HistorySince 1955 this school has occupied the premises of All Saints' C.E. Boys' School, built in School Street, Hoole, in 1887.
All Saints' C.E. Infant School was originally the mixed infant department of Westminster C.E. Girls' and Infant School, built in Peploe Street (now Westminster Road), Hoole, by the Marquis of Westminster in 1865 (see Kelly's Directory of Cheshire, 1892, p.289). Westminster Road became a mixed junior school in 1955 when the infants were established as a separate school in School Street, and All Saints' boys were transferred to Westminster Road. From September 1972, Chester schools have been reorganised as first schools for children aged five to eight, middle schools for children aged eight to twelve, and high schools for children from the age of twelve. All Saints' continued as a first school, and was henceforth known as All Saints' C.E. First School.
