| Description | These volumes include the annual abstracts of expenditure and income, arranged under various account headings. Most of the volumes up to 1941 also include the annual estimates of income and expenditure, but these are not included from 1942 onwards. Additional notes and annotations, made by the City Treasurer of the City Accountant, are contained in the volumes between 1876 and 1896.
Lists of aldermen, councillors, officials and magistrates are included in the volumes for 1876-1938 and those for 1898-1921 also include complete lists of Chester Corporation employees, giving their salaries and dates of appointment. |
