Presentment by the jury that Richard Gough of Handbridge in Chester, labourer, and Thomas Lewis of the same, labourer, on 22 June 1606 at Chester stole 9 sheep worth 20s. belonging to John ap Hughe and other unknown persons, and that the said Richard and Thoma on 24 June 1606 took the wool worth 9s. from the said sheep. Presentment by the jury of a watercourse, lying between the mansion house of Peter Midleton, gentleman., and the mansion house of William Leicester of Chester, alderman, in Bridge Street, which because of disrepair, instead of carrying water away from the house of the said William Leicester on the north side and the house of the said Peter Midleton on the south side, flowed into the cellar of the house of the said William Leicester to the great damage of the said house, and that the said Peter Midleton should repair the said watercourse.
