Administrative History	The Clerk to the County Council has generally acted as Clerk to the Lieutenancy and the Clerk's Department has serviced the office and its committees. Following local government re-organisation in 2009, the Chief Executive of Cheshire East took on the role of Clerk to the Lieutenancy which remained County-wide function.
