DescriptionOn a dispute between Rauff [Ralph] Brayn [Brayen], heir of Rauff Brayn and son of Thomas the latter's brother, and Harry Aldersey, concerning the right, title and possession of a messuage, lands, tenements and hereditaments of the said late Rauff Brayn, in Spurstowe. The said Harry to pay £25 to the Bishop till the said Harry or his herirs be made sure of premises, when the £25 will be paid to said Rauff. If Rauff die before Harry or his heirs be made sure, or if Rauff refuses to make assurance of the same, then the £25 will be repaid to Harry. After the £25 is paid to the Bishop, Harry is to have the premises and all the deeds concerning the same. Margere, Rauff's mother, to have her kneeling place at the form in the pew in the parish church of Bunbury which belongs to the said messuage, with the wife of the said Harry.
