John Crewe the elder; whereby 1) enfeoff 2) in --- closes in WESTON called Bates croft, (Big) Meadow, the Wood, Monnerly Mere Meadow, the within Meadow, the little Moor, the Big Mere Field, the Long Meadow and Moor Meadow (reserving to the grantors and their tenants of land od. the Big Meadow a right of way over the same for the occupation of such part of the same meadow as is now divided by a hedge and adjoins lands in the occupation of Thomas Malam, for the life of Jane wife of Ralph Malkin); IN EXCHANGE FOR closes called the Flash Meadow, the Mill Field, the Odd Croft, the Clays, the Highland Field, Astburys Hole and the little Moor.
