TitleDEED OF EXCHANGE between 1) Rt. Hon. Wilbraham Earl of Dysart 2) Rev. Sir Thomas Broughton Bt. 3) John Baxter of Faddiley, yeoman. 4) Richard Edleston the younger of Nantwich, gentleman; reciting that WHEREAS a certain highway within the Township and Manor of BRIDGMERE may be diverted and turned through certain lands, part whereof belong to the sd. Earl and other part to the sd. Sir Thomas Broughton, and that it would be to the benefit of both if they exchanged certain parts of their lands, NOW the sd. Earl enfeoffs the sd. Sir Thomas Broughton in --- parcels of land in BRIDGMERE separated from the S.W. of a field called the Dat yard, a parcel of land separated from 2 closes cd. the Old Orchard and the Shepherds Croft, and a parcel of land separated from a close called the further Black Yards, IN EXCHANGE FOR a parcel of land in the sd. Manor and Township of BRIDGMERE, being part of a lane called Pepper Street Lane and Briery Lane and another parcel of land separated from certain fields there of the sd. Sir Thomas Broughton called the Pingo and Big Meadow, and also the Occupation Road or other right of road of the sd. Sir Thomas Broughton in respect of his lands in BRIDGMERE in, through and over parcels of land cd. the Big Broom and the Dember Ley, and a parcel of land in BRIDGMERE separated from the S.E. side of a field called the Lea Moor. PLAN endorsed.
