TitleAPPOINTMENT between 1) Rev. Sir Thomas Broughton of Doddington Hall and of Broughton (Co. Staff.) Bt. and Delves Broughton of Doddington Hall, Esq., eldest son and heir apparent, and 2) Rev. Robert Hill of Hough, clerk, and James Tomkinson of Reese Heath within Worleston, Esq.; that the sd. 2nd party shall stand seised of messuages, tenements and farm with appurtenances in BATHERTON alias BARTHERTON, BLAKENHALL, HUNSTERSON, ROPE and WESTON, par. Wybunbury, as specified, for term of 900 years, upon trusts by mortgage or sale or by rents and issues of the sd. hereditaments and premises to raise and pay such sums of money for the portions of daughters and younger sons of the sd. Sir Thomas Broughton by Dame Mary his late wife as they shall become entitled to by virtue of (recited) Deed Poll of 3. Feb. 1770 and thereby to exonerate the residue of the hereditaments and premises charged with the sd. portions; and shall stand seised of messuages, tenements and farms in CHECKLEY, CHORLTON, LEA, WALGHERTON, ROPE and WESTON, as specified, for a term of 800 years upon trust by and out of the rents, issues and profits of the sd. hereditaments and premises or by mortgage or sale to keep down the arrears of the yearly sum of £1,000 due to Dame Mary, late wife of Sir Bryan Broughton Delves, Bt., deceased and now wife of Henry Errington and to exonerate the residue of the hereditaments and premises charged therewith, and in trust to permit the residue of the sd. rents etc: to be received by the person/s for the time being entitled to the next estate in remainder.
