Description	Parties: 1. John Pygot son and heir of Richard Pygot Esq. Robert Legh of Adlyngton [Adlington] senior, John Smyth chaplain, 2. Robert Downes senior Esq., Geoffrey Downes. Quitclaim of party 1's claims upon all the lands in Potshryglay [Pott Shrigley] once held by Richard father of John Pigot. Latin Mark: F.j.9.
Physical Description	Parchment: 1 membrane 13¾" wide by 2½", three seal label. Seals: Three pendant on three labels red, round. From left;- (1) broken off left side, 10mm diam, device a "P" and a wheat-ear. (2) whole but effaced, an impression 5mm by 8mm. (3) chipped and effaced, impression 10mm diam.
