Witnesses: Sir Ralph de Mounyoie then Sheriff of Lanc', Robert de Singilton', William de Prees, John ........., William de Hamilton, Robert son of Michael de Merton'. Feoffment, to feoffees their heirs or assigns "exceptis viris religiosis" by military services for Robert son of John de Schyrburne and his heirs capital lords of the fee such as appurtains to the fee as part of 2 bovates of land in the town of Hamylton' [Hamilton] as contained in the charter of the said Geoffrey and his predecessors; in a toft with buildings and all other appurtenances in the town of Hamylton' (alias Hamilton') in the north part of that township, lying between the toft of Robert de Singilton and the toft of John de Hacunishou. Physical Description	Parchment: 1 membrane 9" wide by 3"; fragile, cracked at folds, badly discoloured and mildewed, left lower corner rotted away in a space of one and a half sq. ins. Seal missing, label missing from slit in turn-up.
