Settlement; grant with Warranty contra omnes gentes for term of life as Jointure to party 2 of an annual rent of 4 marks issueing from lands and tenements in a certain place called Vpton' [Upton] payable half-yearly, as agreed in Indentures 20 October 1550 between Roger Downez of Shrigley [Pott Shrigley] Esq and Thomas Stapleton; with remainder after Catrine's death to Thomas Stapleton junior her husband and his heirs begotten upon her, thence to the heirs of his body.
