Release in consideration of £6. 0. 0. of a close called Nether Goffe close within the lordship of Hallifaxe [Halifax] county of Yorke [York] abutting on the lands of William Branthwayte to the north and east and on a way leading between a place called Kinge Crosse and one called Harrott Well to the west; in pursuance of the terms of Indenture of Bargain and Sale 18 November 1615 (13 & 49 Jas I) whereby party 1 mortgaged the premises to party 2 for £34 repayable by 11 November 1616 with provision that if default of payment were made the premises were to be forfeit to party 2 upon further payment of £6 by him to party 1.
