Description	Parties: 1. Edward Downes of Shrigley [Pott Shrigley] co. Chester Esq and Sarah his wife, 2. Joshua Gregory of Baslowe in the parish of Bakewell co. Derby Husbandman. Signed and sealed: Joshua Gregorie. Witnesses (endorsed): Francies Higginbothom, Oliver Roping(?). Lease in consideration of £20 for 21 years at £15 per annum with mining rights and other appurtenants of a mine, quarry or delf of stone called Taques in Nether Padley co. Derby now or late occupied by John Rotheram. English Mark: None. Counterpte of Mr Downes his lease to Joshua Gregory 1694.
Physical Description	Parchment: 1 membrane 27" wide by 17". Seal: Pendant, red, round, 12mm diam, device heraldic - a lozenge bearing in chief 3 roundels and in the field a lion passant. Duty stamp 6d.
