Description	Letters of Administration, granted by Thomas Parkinson, clerk, D.D., vicar general and Official Principal for the Rt. Rev. Father in God George Henry, lord bishop of Chester, to Bridget Downes (administratix sworn under penalty of £7,000 for maladministration) sister and next of kin of Edward Downes late of Pott Shrigley in the parish of Prestbury, Gent., bachelor dcsd., without parents. Signed, William Ward Depty..... English Mark none.
Physical Description	Parchment: 1 membrane 13" wide by 8"; printed form "filled in". Turn-up for seal label along right edge. Much stained and discoloured, damp and fungoid patches. Seal: A wafered pendant on a label at left edge, venica. (White paper is coming apart showing a poor kind of pin wax inside). Device and legend effaced. Duty Stamps £180.
