Dear Sir,
I received your letter of the 21st and as I am not conscious of doing any thing to the prejudice of you or your Property, and as it is very possible that things may have been misrepresented to you, I can not enter in to the Particulars alluded to in your letter till we meet in the Country; In the mean time I have written to Mr:Wright of Mottram on the Subject and through his means, I hope all misunderstanding between us will be prevented.
