Feoffment de capitali domino, with Warranty contra omnes homines, in a place called le Blake Erthe with a meadow adjacent and a place called le Whetecroft with a meadow adjacent, which once belonged to Edmund del Dounes senior, in the township and lands of Macclesfeld [Macclesfield].

Parties: 1. Roger son of Nicholas del Dounes, 2. William del Dounes of Shryglegh [Pott Shrigley].

Witnesses: Richard del Rowe then mayor of the town of Macclesfeld [Macclesfield], William le Frensche then catchpole of the same town, Roger de Hydolf, John le Walker, Adam fitz Peter, Richard le Knyght, John the clerk.

Mark: C. m. 12 49.E.3. (the 49 has been emended from 43), Carta Rogr del Dounes in Macclesfeld.
