Administrative History	Brother of Sir John Thomas Stanley, 1st Baron. He married Catherine Leycester, daughter of Rev. Oswald Leycester, Rector of Stoke co. Salop, in 1810. From 1805 to 1837 he was rector of Alderley, 1805-1837 and became Bishop of Norwich
