| | | 36 - Order of the Local Government Board to the Guardians of Chester Union re three fields in Hoole Lane belonging to the trustees of Thomas Brassey, esq., deceased, to be purchased for £3,500 for the site of a workhouse, schools and hospital. The said workhouse to be built within twelve months to hold 450 persons at a cost not exceeding £15,750, the children's building to hold 150 children at a cost not exceeding £5,250, and the hospital at a cost not exceeding £3,500, the total cost, therefore, including the land not exceeding £28,000. - 26 April 1872 |
