DescriptionARTICLES OF AGREEMENT between the Hon. George Cholmondeley esq. and Thomas Downes of Caldecott, yeoman, for a life tenancy of part of the demesnes of HATTON, that is to say the dwelling house, outbuildings, yards, gardens, orchards, coppy swine pale, Burnt yards, great Roberts wood, litle Roberts wood, long croft, great cow hay, Tootill croft, Drummonds old yards, Rodes croft, great bottoms, Duttons three yards and Great Towne field, now/late in the holding of widow Dutton, Peter Mort, John Dod and John Tussingham, at an annual rent of £205; the said George Cholmondeley is to have liberty to pull down the Hall, the buildings annexed to it and the kill (?kiln), to be erected elsewhere as he shall appoint.
