DescriptionGRANT in fee by Richard lord of Edlaston [Edleston] to Richard de Fogheleshurst, his heirs and assigns, of all the mill and fishpond of EDLASTON, with the fishery, agistment of water and right of way to the said mill, a messuage and lands which one Peter le Dauber formerly held of him in the same place, a piece of ground lying in the Chirchefurlong near the croft of Peter le Dauber, 2 butts of land which one Nicholas le Sauser formerly held of him for a term (boundaries), piece of meadow which Adam the carpenter formerly held of him for a term (boundaries) and a messuage and lands which one William son of Tonekyn de Edlaston formerly held of him for a term; with licence to take sufficient materials on his land for repairing and raising the mill pond. Witnesses: William de Praers, then sheriff of Cheshire, Robert his brother, Robert de Sonde, Richard de Wrennebury, William de Fogheleshurst, Richard de Henull, Thomas de Alstaneston and Richard the clerk.
