DescriptionFEOFFMENT by Robert Pulleshurst of Crue [Crewe] esq., to Sir Hugh Cholmondeley of Cholmondeley Kt --- the reversion of parcels of land in EDLASTON [Edleston] called the hall orchards and the hall yards, of the annual rents of 3/4, now in the hall yards, of the annual rents of 3/4, now in the holding of Reynold Jacson, a toft with a barn in NEWBOLDE [Newbold Astbury], 1 pasture there called the fur Newbolde and half a meadow there called the Newbolde medowe, now in the tenure of Richard Wilbram of the Wichemalbanke [Nantwich], of the annual rent of 26/8, a parcel of land in EDLASTON called the Wallfeilde, now in the holding of Roger Crockett, a parcel of land in NEWBOLDE called Pictons Croft, now in the occupation of the said Roger Crocket, of the annual rent of 36/8, a parcel of land in EDLASTON called the Ladyfeilde, now in the tenure of Henry Whikstede, and Anne Whikstede, widow, late wife of Thomas Whikstede, deceased, of the annual rent of 36/8, a parcel of land in NEWBOLDE, now in the tenure of Mawde Dod, now wife of Ranulph Dod of Barton, and late wife of Rauf Mynshull, deceased, of the annual rent of 32/-, a parcel of land in EDLASTON called Eviotts croft, now in the holding of Robert Goodyere, of the annual rent of 15/-, and a parcel of land there called the Brownehilles, now in the tenure of John Alexander, of the annual rent of 28/-, amounting in all to £8-18-4; the conveyance is to come into effect after the decease of Dame Catheryn Brereton, widow of Sir Roger Brereton Kt., and some time wife of Edward Fulleshurst esq., uncle of the said Robert; 7 hundred and one year leases, dated 24th Dec. 1563 (recited) are reserved.
