[1] Party 1. Henry of Ruddeheth [Rudheath] has granted to Party 2. Richard of Lostok' [Lostock], his brother, his entire
[2] right in the manor of Lostok' [Lostock] with appurtenances to be held to him and his heirs
[3] freely from Henry and his heirs, rendering annually to Henry and his heirs twenty
[4-5] silver shillings at the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist, and at the feast of St Martin in Winter. And if Richard should die without heir, Henry wills and grants that the entire manor with
[6-7] appurtenances should revert fully to Thomas, [Henry's] son, to be held to him and his heirs and assigns forever of the chief lords of that fee by customary services.
[7-9] Warranty clause.
[10] Given at Lostok' [Lostock] in the 6th year of King Edward, son of King Henry.
[10-11] Witnesses: lord Hamo de Mascy, lord Ralph de Vernoun [Vernon], lord Hugh de Dutton, lord Geoffrey of Werburton [Warburton], knights, Gralham de Morton, Richard of Andurton [Anderton], and all the faithful of Christ of the county of Chester.
