[1]Merbury [Marbury]. At the great court held Thursday after the feast of St Martin 26 Henry VI
[2] appeared Philip Jenyin, chaplain, by Richard Banastor and Thomas Baxton his attorneys, and rendered up to the lords
[3] one messuage with adjoining land in Merbury [Marbury], once held by John Baker for the rent of 11s 6d yearly.
[4-5] Also a messuage with adjoining lands in Merbury [Marbury] once held by Hugh Madyn for the rent of 15s 1d yearly; also
[5-6] certain parcels of land called Gylstokkyng for the rent of 2s 9d yearly, for the use of John
[7] Marchumley and his wife Margaret, who came to court and took
[8] from the lords the same messuages with adjoining lands and the parcel of land called Gylstokkyng
[9] to be held by the said John Marchumley, his wife Margaret and son William
[10] for all customary services to the manor.
[11] Paid fine of 15s, and they took seisin and did fealty, witnessed by John Nedeham, steward,
