DescriptionGrant of moiety of township of Birches and other lands. Grant by Richard son of Gralam de Lostok and Emmot his wife, to William son of Roger de Toft, in frank-marriage with their daughter Johanna, of moiety of township of Birches, which the said Emmot had by the gift of Geoffrey de Lostok, and a croft between the filed [field?] of Birches and and the meadow of Lostock which William le Cat once held, together witth housebote and haybote in all the woods of Lostock. Witnesses: Lord G de Badelesmere, then justice of Chester, Lord Patrick de Haseleswalle, then Sheriff of Cheshire, Ranulph de Vernun, Richard de Mascy, Ralph de Horton(?), Robert de Wynnington, Roger de Tofte, Robert le Grosvenor, Gilber the clerk and others. Fragments of 2 seals on tags.
