Copy (15th cent?) grant by Emma daughterof Stephen de M'ton to Nicholas her son of all the land which she had in the townships of Netherton and Birches, that is to say the whole vill of Birches and all the land between Birches and le Holes as set out with metes and bounds, and the land which she bought of Robert son of Gralam de Lostock, and all the land and wood which Richard de Lostok granted to her, paying 2 shillings per annum to Amicia widow of Randle le Roter and her heirs.
