| Description | Agreement re exchange of lands etc. in Broxton and Barton. Agreement between John Bostok of Barton and John Bostok his son and heir apparent of the one part and Randle Dod of Bollesworth [Bowlesworth] of the other, reciting:-
1) Grant dated 5 Feb of 2 crofts called the Wesshpytt, boundaries recited, in Broxton by the Bostoks to Dod, and,
2) Grant of 5 Feb by Dod to Bostoks of all his messuages, lands and tenements in Barton and 21d annual rent arising out of a messuage and tenement in Broxton called the Stone House all of which Dod had by grant of Dame Joan Huxley, widow;
Dod agrees to pay to the Bostoks 6s 8d annually for the term of Dame Joan's life, and the Bostoks agree to pay 16s 8d annually to Dod and 21d for the use of Dame Joan, for the term of her life, all payments to cease on her death. Seal in red wax on tag. |
