[1] John de Aula of Kingesley [Kingsley] [2] has granted, remised and entirely quitclaimed for himself and his heirs to Richard, son of Richard le Roter de Kingesley [Kingsley] [3] and his heirs, all his right and claim which he held, or henceforth could hold on all lands and tenements which [4] he held in [....] 'demor and Lyneyemor with all their appurtenances, so that neither John, nor his heirs [5] will ever henceforth be able to make any demand or claim on the aforesaid lands and tenements against the said Richard or his heirs if [6-7] Warranty clause. [8] Witnesses: Peter de Thortun [Thornton], William Gerard, Ranulf [9] de Merton [Marton?], William de Hellesby [Helsby], Henry Deoun [Done?] and others. Given at Kengesley [Kingsley], on Monday on the feast of John [sic] before the Latin gate, [10] in the year of the lord 1314.
