[1] Party 1, Thomas, son of John the miller of Halton [Haughton]
[2] to party 2, William of Bulkilegh' [Bulkeley] junior, and Margaret, his wife, his entire share of the whole land, moor, marsh and water with its appurtenances in Halton [Haughtn], within
[3] the boundaries written underneath, beginning namely in the marl-pit of the said William, and from there following a medium-sized hedge all the way to Otalemor, and thus following Otalemor
[4] to the lane which crosses from Halton [Haughton] towards Bunebur' [Bunbury] and thus following the said lane to the watercourse, and following the watercourse down towards
[5] a medium-seized embankment which comes from the said marl-pit, and climbing the said ditch into the said marl-pit. To be had and held to them and the heirs
[6] equally of the chief lords by services thereby owed and customary, with all appurtenances, liberties, commodities, easements either pertaining to the tenements of the said land
[7] or thereafter to become profitable to them. And if the said William and Margaret die without heir issued between them, then Thomas wills and grants that all the aforesaid land and tenement aforesaid with all its appurtenances remain to the nearest heirs of the said William, to be had and held of the chief lords by services thereby owed and customary
