[1] Party 1 John Browe, parson of a moiety of the church of Malpas, and Henry Mascy, chaplain, have appointed, [2] party 2, William Macefen as their faithful and lawful attorney to receive [3] full and peaceable seisin for them and in their name of all lands and tenements, rents and services from party 3 William Pycke and Margaret [4] his wife in the vills of Rogh Shotewyk [Woodbank] and Halghton [Haughton] by the gift and feoffment of William and Margaret, according to the force, form [5] and effect of a certain charter by William and Margaret to party 1 and their heirs thereby subsequently, rightly and freely having and about to have [6] whatever their same attorney will cause on their behalf or on behalf of their name on the things aforementioned. [8] Given on Friday after the feast of the finding of The Holy Cross, [9] in the thirty sixth year of the reign of King Henry VI after the conquest.
