[1] Party 1, Edward, by grace of God, King of England and France, and lord of Ireland,
[2] has pardoned party 2 John de Holford, for his good service to the crown in escorting his firstborn son Edward, Prince of Aquitaine and Wales,
[3] in the regions of Aquitaine, for the death of Thurstan del Bruchez, for which he was
[4] indicted, accused or appealed, and also for outlawry if in any way it will be proclaimed against him for that reason, and he has granted his firm peace to him.
[6] Witnessed by the king himself at Wynton [Winchester], 12th June, in the forty-fifth year of (our) reign of England; the thirty second year of (our) reign of France.
