DescriptionThe first a request for advice concerning the possible lease of some cottages and the merits of various pieces of advise given to him on the matter from Gladstone and Hawley also concerning the merits of a man in his service named Fleming whom he wants to get rid of but would like Lord de Tabley and Gladstone to visit to judge for themselves. The second stating he is going to Chamber today with Richard and Williams formerly agent to Lord Downshire and 'a nice fellow' and 'good farmer' the ideal for the position, a gentleman who understands farming.
