Letter in French, addressed to my lord, from Frederic Auguste Baron O'birne, chamberlain of the king of Saxony, describing the fortunes of his branch of the family. The contents of the will of John Warren, regarding the Cheshire estates. Agreed that John Byrne's daughters should stay with Lady Byrne, a provision agreed for their maintenance.

Ralph Basset de Chedle and Margeret his wife gave in exchange to Thomas son of Thomas de Chorleton 20 acres, 3 selions in Chorleton. Witnessed by Richard de Ffouleshurst, then sheriff of Chester, Thomas de Aldelyme etc. Given at Chorlton, Saturday the eve of the Trinity, 3 Edward I. Henry Fitton of Over Tabley acknowledged himself bound to Francis Leicester of Nether Tabley in £100 (Latin). The conditions. English. If he kept the temrs of an indenture made that day the obligation was null and void. [25 Sep 1699].
