DescriptionLetter to Sir John Fleming Leicester from William Lloyd Jones whose father was an officer in the army for over twenty years but due to family misfortune fell into poverty which with the death of his only sister broke his heart and brought on a brain fever which killed him. Leaving his mother unprovided for, therefore Mr Lloyd Jones pleads on her behalf for charity.
Letter to Lady Leicester from her son, William Henry Leicester writing from Nice, general news of his time in France and inquiries about events in England. He states he has been spending much time with the Duke of Bedford and Lady Maynard but that the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester are not very popular as they spoil all the parties.
Letter from Mr Kendall concerning the publication of an article which he believes is inadequate and inaccurate. Letter from D. Watson congratulating Sir John on his impending marriage.
