Description | Whereas Richard Sneyde by an indenture of 12 Aprill 1507 paid to Thomas Leycestre and John his son 180 marcs for the marriage of William Leycestre, John’s son together with other arrangements. Thomas and John agree that they will not demand that the said covenant be executed but will take £100 in instalments (dates specified) and at the marriage or before, £6 13 s 4d to Alice, wife of the said John as a reward for her good will.
