DescriptionSo that the king should not be deceived, he required a true valuation of all the lands etc and Peter granted to Robert, Earl of Salisbury Lord High Treasurer of England and to Sir Roger Wilbram, knight, that an auditor, or auditor’s should e appointed at the King’s pleasure to value the said lands.
