Title	Letters relating to the sale of the 'Falls of Schaffhaussen' [Schauffhaussen] and possible purchase of portraits of the Daniels family.

Description	Correspondents include Lady Stepney (signs herself M.C.S), C Gerald Agnew (valuer), Lady Eleanor Leighton Warren, Edward Blakeway, James Hatton and Mr Hadfield. Also: mention of a topaz brooch similar to the one in Princess Mary's portrait (/16-17) and ticket originally affixed to the back of the 'Falls of Schaffhaussen' in the International Exhibition 1862. Letters from James Hatton concerning portraits of the Daniels family he has in his possession (/22-31) and the cost of conserving them (/35).
