DescriptionVolume of maps and sections of two proposed railways from Shrewsbury to Chester the first, through Shropshire, Flintshire and the Cheshire townships of Shocklach Oviatt, Church Shocklach, Stretton, Kings Marsh extra Parochial, Churton by Aldford, Aldford, Lea cum Newbold, Buerton, Huntington, Great Boughton, and the Parish of St. John the Baptist, Chester; to join the Chester and Crewe Railway near Chester Station.
Also an alternative route running to the west of the previous from Shrewbury through Shropshire, Flintshire and Denbighshire to join the North Wales Mineral Railway at Rossett in Flintshire.
Shows good street plans of parts of Shrewsbury and Chester.
